Britt Kreulen-Streim
Britt has been working at Voxius as an Office Manager since 2016. Before that, she worked in the online marketing teams at two other organizations. She studied Media, Information, and Communication at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Britt is from Eindhoven and has been living in Amsterdam for 16 years now.
What do you focus on at Voxius?
My focus is on keeping the office well-organized and supporting my colleagues. I handle a wide range of organizational and practical tasks while maintaining an overview, coordinating schedules and appointments, and supporting my colleagues as needed. This also includes website management and social media. I enjoy keeping things running smoothly so that our team can focus on the work we do for our clients and candidates.
What part of your job gives you the most energy?
The connection with my colleagues and the sense that we’re in this together. I enjoy taking some of the load off others, contributing ideas, and making sure everything is well organized. Especially when it helps a colleague or makes a busy day just a little bit easier. And to be honest: the annual ski vacations, Christmas dinners, and team get-togethers also give me a lot of energy. At Voxius, there’s always a good reason for a little excitement and fun.
What did you do before you started working at Voxius?
Before joining Voxius, I worked on the online marketing team at Marie Claire Magazine and then on the online marketing team at Shoebaloo. There, my responsibilities included developing and managing content for the website and an online magazine, as well as managing social media. It was a creative and varied role, in which I turned ideas into content and ensured that everything was published at the right time. In the process, I learned to plan ahead, maintain an overview, and pay attention to both the content and the details. That experience comes in handy in my role as Office Manager at Voxius. Here, too, it’s all about organizing, communicating clearly, and switching smoothly between different tasks.
What do you do in your free time besides your work at Voxius?
At home, too, I’m sort of an office manager—but for two young children who, unlike my colleagues at Voxius, pay little attention to my schedule. Amid all the fun and chaos, I also like to seek out some excitement outside the home by regularly going out to eat with friends and/or my husband. Ciro Passami L’Olio and Bacalar are my favorites! I also travel to Eindhoven regularly to visit family, and that’s when my Spotify playlist goes completely haywire. It shuffles from Elvis Presley and Daft Punk to “The wheels on the bus go round and round…”
