Impact on the Relationship Between In-House Counsel and Attorneys

As the role of the General Counsel has evolved, so too have the expectations they have of their attorneys. At the same time, attorneys are increasingly dealing with issues that fall outside the strictly legal sphere. Our colleague Els Boonacker led an interesting roundtable discussion for Mr. Magazine on the increasingly shifting relationship between lawyers and general counsels, as well as how they view the social role of the lawyer.
