Plenty of room to bring in your own ideas on how to make compliance easier and more effective

The Profile

Nikon is looking for a pragmatic, hands-on compliance professional who enjoys working in an international environment. You are proactive, organized, and able to translate requirements into clear, practical actions. While this is not a strategic or leadership position, there is plenty of room to bring in your own ideas on how to make compliance easier and more effective for the business.

You bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher; ideally in law, business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in compliance, internal audit follow-up, or similar roles in a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of compliance programs, policies, and business ethics.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • The ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and training materials.
  • A proactive, positive mindset and team spirit.
  • Experience in or affinity with Japanese business culture is an advantage.
  • You are residing in the Netherlands and live within commuting distance from the office.

The Offer

  • At Nikon, personality matters just as much as experience.
  • An SME-like culture within a world-class brand: not a huge corporate, but a collaborative, multicultural environment.
  • A role with responsibility and room for your own input, but without heavy strategic or leadership pressure.
  • Autonomy and a healthy work-life balance.
  • A dynamic workplace in Amstelveen (3 days per week onsite).
  • Preference for a full-time candidate, but flexibility is possible.
