Tata Steel is undergoing a major transformation towards Green Steel
The Client
For more than a century, the IJmond region has been home to world‑class steelmaking. Since 1924, Tata Steel has produced approximately 7 million tonnes of steel annually, playing a vital role in modern society. At its 750‑hectare site in IJmuiden, over 9,000 employees operate a fully integrated production chain, with downstream processing locations across Europe serving sectors such as automotive, agriculture and sustainable construction.
Tata Steel is undergoing a major transformation towards Green Steel, focused on lower CO₂ emissions, reduced environmental impact and increased circularity. This transition is reshaping the organisation and strengthening functions such as compliance and sustainability, offering significant opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
To support this transformation, Tata Steel is expanding its Ethics & Compliance team.
