Currently, Centrient is looking for a driven Global Risk & Compliance Director, who will elevate their global compliance strategy to the next level.

The Position

As Global Risk & Compliance Director, you will be at the heart of Centrient’s global compliance program. You will ensure that compliance is not just a policy on paper but a thriving culture within the organization. With your strategic vision and decisiveness, you will advise senior management and collaborate with teams worldwide to embed compliance and risk management into the organization. You will report directly to the General Counsel & Company Secretary.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a global Risk & Compliance framework covering areas such as anti-corruption, trade control, data privacy, competition law, ethics, and ESG-related compliance.
• Advise the Compliance Committee, and Audit Committee on compliance risks and strategic decision-making.
• Lead global training sessions and policy implementations to enhance compliance awareness and adherence.
• Investigate (near) compliance breaches and ensure appropriate measures and reporting.
• Monitor and manage the Speak-Up line and act as a point of contact within the Risk & Compliance Committee.
• Proactively contribute to a culture where compliance and ethical business practices are a given.

The Profile

• A Master’s degree in Law (preferably in a continental European jurisdiction).
• At least 12 years of experience in Risk & Compliance, preferably within an international organization.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector or another highly regulated industry.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills; you know how to persuade stakeholders and make an impact.
• The ability to balance business objectives with compliance risks.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
