The Company

Euronext’s registered office is situated in Amsterdam. On behalf of Euronext in Amsterdam we seek to recruit a Legal Counsel – The Netherlands.

The Position

You will be responsible for providing legal support relating to Corporate Solutions and other corporate and commercial legal matters for Euronext Amsterdam and the Euronext Group, assisting the various business teams and support functions in Euronext’s international Legal domain. Amongst other matters, you will:

• Contribute to the development of Euronext’s Corporate Solutions platform;
• Draft and review commercial contracts, provide support in company secretarial matters,
• Contribute to and/or lead on specific corporate legal topics at Group level;

The position reports to the Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs (Netherlands).

The Profile

• Excellent lawyer with commercial, business orientated attitude and mentality to think and work out of the box;
• About 3-6 years’ experience in an international law firm and/or a multinational (listed) company;
• Ability to maintain excellent relationships with colleagues in other business areas, external bodies and key stakeholders such as senior management, external legal counsel and relevant regulators;
• Ability to legally challenge real life scenarios and business issues and to support business partners in reaching pragmatic commercial solutions;
• Creative, pro-active and able to operate as part of an international team;
• Very good oral and written communication skill in Dutch and English.
