You will be responsible for advising the Dutch group entities and their directors on a wide range of legal issues with a focus on corporate law

The Position

You will, as part of a team, be responsible for advising the Dutch group entities and their directors on a wide range of legal issues with a focus on corporate law. You will supervise and assist with governance and decision-making processes and you will be responsible for establishing Dutch corporate structures for new projects. Besides, you will be involved in international corporate and financial restructurings and transactions. You will act as a trusted advisor to the business directors and play an important role in the coordination of corporate and business processes.

In this position you will work in close cooperation with colleagues of the group’s various business lines, corporate and banking lawyers in Madrid, your colleagues in the Netherlands and external advisors.

You are a Dutch qualified lawyer (bachelor and master) with 4 to 6 years of experience

The Profile

You are a Dutch qualified lawyer (bachelor and master) with 4 to 6 years of experience. You have solid knowledge of corporate law and relevant experience in cross-border M&A, financing transactions and/or restructurings, gained in an internationally operating law firm and/or corporate environment. At least as important as your legal skills is your ability to bridge cultural differences. You are challenged by working on a daily basis with colleagues abroad. You are fluent in English and Dutch. Affinity with Spanish culture and language is a plus.

Last but not least, you have a high level of energy, you are willing to learn on a continuous basis and you are used to working under pressure.
