Euronext operates regulated equity and derivatives markets and is the largest centre for debt and funding listings in the world. The product range includes equities, exchange-traded-funds, warrants and certificates, bonds, derivatives, commodities and indices as well as a foreign exchange trading platform. In addition to its main regulated market, Euronext operates Euronext Growth and Euronext Access, providing access to listing for SME.
Euronext registered office and corporate HQs are situated in Amsterdam and Paris.

On behalf of Euronext we seek to recruit a Listing Admission Manager for the Dutch HQ in Amsterdam.

The position

Within Euronext the Listing Execution Department is in charge of the relationship with listed companies and those contemplating an IPO. The Listing Team is amongst others responsible for the admission process of companies willing to be admitted on Euronext markets in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris or Lisbon. The team exists of 6 Listing Admission Managers with different backgrounds, ranging from legal to financial.
As a Listing Admission Manager you will be responsible for managing the admission process from A-Z. This intends that you will be part of the first kick-off meetings with management (C-level) of prospects and their advisors up to the final bell-ceremony after a successful admission.
Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assessing companies applying for an initial admission of equity securities on a Euronext market based on criteria such as legal, compliance, business model, shareholders structure, strategy, purpose of transaction and at some point the continuation of listing of shares after certain transactions;
  • Reviewing admission related documentation e.g. information document, prospectus etc;
  • Preparing a recommendation memorandum to the Listing Committee/ Listing Board in charge of accepting/refusing admission projects;
  • Taking care of the operational preparation of the admission of a company, including a.o. communicating with internal and extern stakeholders;
  • Supervising the local (junior) Listing Admission intern.

In this role you will work closely with the larger integrated Listing Team and the local Sales Team by advising them on various legal and operational questions. More generally, you will assist the Listing Team in the roll-out of strategic initiatives targeting prospects, issuers and ecosystem members (such as Listing Sponsors), internal and external reporting, and will be highly involved in the activities of the Listing Execution Department. This will be an important part of the role, ensuring that the Euronext listing strategy is fully supported, while the integrity of the markets is at all times upheld.

Your profile

For this position knowledge of/interest in/familiarity with ECM operations/listings combined with approximately 4 years specific working experience with M&A/ECM/Capital Markets-transactions gained at a law firm, PE fund, advisory boutique, investment bank is necessary. Just as important as the legal skills are the (inter)personal skills. You need to be a chameleon, able to step out your comfort zone and eager to learn and broaden your view. A firm, sensitive, proactive and practical person. Someone who has strong communication skills, is native Dutch speaking and fluent in English. You do have excellent drafting and analytical skills, are result-oriented and have a great team spirit. Above all you need to be stress resistant for this position.
