For the General Counsel’s Office Ferrovial is looking to recruit a (senior) Legal Counsel with a focus on Dutch Corporate & Financial Legislation.

The Position

As part of the GCO, you will:

• be responsible for advising the Dutch group entities and their directors on a wide range of legal issues with a focus on corporate and financial law;
• assist with governance and decision-making processes and you will be responsible for establishing Dutch corporate structures for new projects;
• be involved in international corporate and financial restructurings and transactions by taking the lead on the Dutch law implications thereof;
• act as company secretary for the Dutch group companies, except for the listed top parent company.

In this position you will work in close cooperation with legal colleagues of the group’s various business lines, your colleagues in the Netherlands and external advisors.

The Profile

You are a Dutch qualified lawyer (bachelor and master) with at least 10 years relevant working experience. You have solid knowledge of financial and corporate law and relevant experience in cross-border M&A, financing transactions and/or restructurings, gained in an internationally operating law firm and/or corporate environment. At least as important as your legal skills is your ability to bridge cultural differences. You are challenged by working on a daily basis with colleagues abroad. You are fluent in English and Dutch. Affinity with Spanish culture and language is a plus.

Last but not least, you have a high level of energy, you are willing to learn on a continuous basis and you are used to working under pressure.
