In the Netherlands the company is headquartered in Veghel, close to their new sustainable (pre-) wholesale distribution centres and central fulfilment pharmacy.

The Dutch company is supported by a dedicated legal team that works on a wide variety of legal topics. Due to expansion of the legal team there currently is a job opening for a Senior Legal Counsel based in Veghel.

The Position

 As Senior Legal Counsel you will be part of an informal innovative organization and you will work closely with the business as sparring partner of several business units. You will often work independently on a wide variety of legal matters; including but not limited to drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial agreements (e.g. distribution, sale, franchise, purchase, tender and IT(related)), advising on the (consequences of) and implementing new relevant laws and regulations and product development.

You will work on an operational-, as well as tactical- and strategic level. Business sense to act at the right timeessential in this position.

In this position you will report to the General Counsel of Alliance Healthcare Nederland and work closely with the other Senior Legal Counsel and Privacy Officer in the Dutch team.

The Profile

We are looking for an experienced, Dutch law qualified (bachelor and master), legal professional with at least 7 years working experience gained as an attorney-at-law and/or inhouse legal counsel in an international environment, who easily adapts to a new (complex) working environment and is a team player and solid conversation partner.

You have demonstrable, solid experience with commercial contract law as well as corporate law. Knowledge of/experience with IT contractingis an advantage. Your drafting skills are excellent, you are a strong communicator and have a pragmatic approach.

The job requires that you are hands-on and that you have experience in project-based work. You are stress resistant, fluent in Dutch and English (both verbally and in writing).

Experience with- and/or knowledge of franchising, retail and/or the pharmaceutical industry is/are an advantage.
